The Dairy Marketing & Branding Services Grant Application is Open!

Vermont Agency of Agriculture Food & Markets The Northeast Dairy Business Innovation Center (NE-DBIC), hosted by the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food, & Markets, announces the availability of funds through the Dairy Marketing and Branding Services Grant Program, which will provide grants for established value-added dairy processors and producer associations to access professional marketing and branding services.

Projects funded by this grant will increase the exposure and promotion of regionally produced dairy products guided by marketing / branding professionals. Funded projects will increase consumer awareness of products, develop market channels and distribution opportunities to increase product placement, support innovative strategies to increase consumption, and / or increase business revenues. Businesses from Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont are eligible.

Additionally, up to 25% of the grant funds may be used to implement the strategy and / or content developed by the contractor. Awards will range from $ 10,000 – $ 50,000 with a match requirement of 25%.

Applications are due by June 23rd at 2:00 pm ET.

This is an exciting and multi-faceted job with oversight of a small team that is responsible for marketing, events, and market development for Vermont’s ag and food producers. This position supports direct to consumer through international export markets with opportunities to collaborate and lead on national and international projects.

The ideal candidate will have skills in event management, marketing, and digital communications and should enjoy travel, team work, and a fast paced environment. This is a full time, permanent position with an hourly wage of $ 28.92.
